December 8

Hello! Today was another day. It was pretty much as usual. Though, since I went to bed kinda early yesterday (around 1), and my alarm rang shortly before 9, I had a pretty good nights sleep. -> I wasn’t even really tired. Nice! But I did go to uni as usual.

There, we had the AI seminar. Since for each missed seminar, you have to present one paper, There were some presentations today. Some were really bad, and some quite good.
As a quick side-note: We are given a pretty strict time limit of 5 minutes. Anything longer, and we get interrupted by the prof, and a some points deducted.
One guy had a quite good looking presentation. He then was talking a little bit about the motivation, prior work, and so on. Then, once he got to the interesting part (the proposed idea) the prof interrupted and he had to skip to the conclusion.
Then, as usual, the prof asked us, if we had any questions, then I raised my hand, and asked:” Can you explain the proposed idea?” Jokes (~half the class laughed SUI). The prof then said, that he gets 30 seconds.

Otherwise, nothing much happened -> I went back home -> lunch.

Midway in lunch, Emily came home and then ate lunch with me. At one time she was like:” Oh shit! – I just got my grade!” And started shaking lol. Then, she got nervous, so she couldn’t look herself, and I had to look for her.
As usual, I was a bit slow, and shit. Then I asked her what she thinks a good grade would be (she said ~6/8 points) I then made a “shits though”-breather & made her a little nervous. But then I told her, that she had 7.7/8 points. What a nerd. But I got her good. lol.

In the afternoon, I spent some time working on my bachelors thesis. I did find some more errors. Shambles. But I found it today, so it’s not too bad. Tomorrow a full day to fix em. (Also, it’s not too bad lol).

In the evening, I had volleyball practice. It was amusing, though, I don’t think it was that productive lol. And also, funnily enough, we let Leon drive the manual swiftly after practice. He had never driven a car before. And he was alright. I explained what he should do, so it kinda went.
Right in the beginning though, he stood on the clutch, turned on the car, and just let go of the clutch. lol. We did make a small jump haha. Other than that, it was actually quite good.

Then, once I was back home again, I did work some more on my bachelors thesis. Good times.

Today was my ex’s birthday. I did congratulate her. Cool! But I feel like (currently) I’m actually doing quite good. Feels a little odd though, so all things together. Weird times.
