Hello! Today, I didn’t do that much either. I mostly watched HIMYM. It’s really funny and shit. Quick observation: I really like the wit they have. And now mr. obvious: I think, it’s just being quick with word associations. For example(s):
– Ted got a butterfly tattoo while drunk -> he said smth. like: it used to be a cocoon but it’s been so long. (So temporal association.)
– Audio association: classic misunderstanding (intended obviously) with similar sounding words.
– mis-interpreting placeholder words. (For example, if you use the word “it”, you can often misinterpret the “it” so the sentence changes it’s meaning.)
And so on. So I think I should try this a little in real life.
On a unrelated note: My mom is on vacation with a friend of hers. They went with the Twingo (the car I usually learn to drive with) but mom’s friend left her Mini here. So in the afternoon, I went on a drive with the Mini. Actually, I didn’t really like the car lol. It was just somewhat weird. The left-side mirror had a zoom effect (which kinda confused me), the clutch was really heavy, as well as the stick to shift gear, and the car just felt kinda off. But all in all, it’s about as good a car as the Twingo lool.
Another unrelated note: Daniel had his 2nd job interview today. He thinks it went well -> he’ll probably get the job -> no more job-less Daniel.
Also, he might soon have a girlfriend. He had a few dates already. I know her as well. She came to help out on like two mixed matches. I think she’s a good catch (if he can seal the deal lol).
This actually (weirdly enough) kinda helped me get over my ex. Because this makes me kinda want to have a girlfriend more. So I think less of my ex and shit. More precisely, I think more about future girls.
On one more unrelated note: I thought about learning sign-language. I think this would be a great thing to know. I really think, it’s sweet if you know sign-language. For example: While gooning with Daniel (swiping through Hinge profiles and giving out likes) we saw one woman who had written that she knows sign-language. And we both thought this was “nice”. And that I still remember this is kinda a sign (haha get it?), that this is something good to know.
Anyway. That’s about all for today. I’ll see you again tomorrow. Take care! Bye-Bye!
