May 5

Hi! Today, I was tired, so I didn’t really do anything. During the day, spent some time on YouTube. I listened to some podcasts and so on.

In the evening, I had my first volleyball practice, with the new team. It was actually really fun. At first, we talked about some things, and then we just played some volleyball variations. Since we were like 13 participants, we could play 6vs6, which also is always double the fun.

Then, some time later, back at home, I listened to some Modern Wisdom podcasts. They were about dating. One was with this woman, who helps men with dating. The lessons we learn are:
– opening lines aren’t that important. You just have to do it. (If you ask out a woman on a date)
– first conversation, then ask for number (it’s not a demand – that’s creepy)
– put effort into dating-app profiles
– if you take more than 10 texts, to get to the date part, you play it too slow
– consider the first date as “date 0” since it’s more like a little “get to know each other”. (So don’t really go to a fancy restaurant, more like a walk)
– if smart (-> not romantical conversations), carry it with being flirty (“adult play”) and physical touch
– wrong answer, may be better than the correct (“[some person] you have a sex addiction; is that right?” -> “I don’t know if it’s right, but it’s definitely enjoyable”)
– romantic talk ≠”normal” talk (two different skills – learn each one)
– women don’t think too much of looks; rather, status (show that you are a provider. Not big money, but interests, drive, trajectory and so on – you aim for somethings), make her feel desired, and have fun
But it was really interesting

The other one was about a hinge data-scientist. Here weren’t as much that interesting things, mostly just some sad-ish things.
– the spark isn’t that real
– don’t max, go for satisfaction (don’t always second guess; you’ll be happier)
– you get good at relationships, by being in one (or multiple)
and so on.

Also, one smart thing I heard, which I think is note-worthy: The greatest trick, the devil ever pulled, was, making you think, the pessimists are the good guys.

But that’s it for today. I’ll see you again tomorrow! Take care and see you then! Bye-Bye!
