October 3

Hello! The day today was nearly identical to yesterday. I nearly worked all the day on my bachelors thesis. Right now, I am able to load the dataset and tokenize it. (Until now, the dataset consisted of words, but I need tokens, so BERT can interpret it.) So now I only need like 5 lines of code more, and then I can start with the training.
I wanted to try and install cuda for deep learning and shit, but it didn’t work. I don’t know why?! Really annoying.

In the evening, I accompanied my sister and brother (Leah & Jordan) to IKEA, since Leah’s moving out in a month and she wanted to buy a mattress for her new bed. We also ate dinner (hot dogs) there. I can proudly say, that I had 5!

Back at home, I watched a little bit of YouTube, and then I continued to work on my bachelors thesis; as mentioned above.

It’s actually somewhat annoying. I tried to have a normal sleeping-schedule, but since I started on my bachelors thesis, it all got thrown upside down. I always look at the clock, then I think, “just this thing really quick” and then it’s already an hour later. And then (obviously) I repeat this 2-3 times, and then it 2 in the night… It’s just too interesting, to test out things, and / or read up on something.

That’s about all I did today.

My hinge match (mentioned from yesterday) did actually un-match me today. lul She was quite nice though. I did ask her to please tell me the order of my hinge pictures, since hinge does pick a order according to their liking. So now I found out, that the one picture I personally like the least, is the best according to hinge.
(Also, I did mostly only like her, to know where this one pic was, she had uploaded on her profile, and she also did tell me that. So all in all she was really nice!)
Unexpectedly, it did hurt a little when she did un-match me. Really weird. Especially, since I did kinda hope that she would. I mean, she was really attractive, but yeah. You know.
I also did look at some profiles today, but I don’t think I liked anyone. Just didn’t feel like it. Also, I thought again, that I don’t like dating apps. lul

Edit from the day after: I couldn’t fall asleep while lying in bed. So I kinda imagined a good (at least in my head) (maybe first) date – with me and Caroline (obviously). Now, I’m just gonna explain, how this all works.

Context: On December 14 (± 1 day), is a shooting-star-night. And I’d really like to “watch” one of those (really romantic).
Also, it’s winter then, so in my ideal world, there would be some snow, and that night it would be snowing. Without clouds though, so we can see the shooting-stars.

Idea: The date begins in the (late) afternoon with a short hike (or drive), to some hill not too far from where I live. This hill (also known as sex-mountain by Josh lul) has a beautiful view over the “valley” where I live. Also, it’s some (short but still) distance away from the next house(s).
There, I have already prepared a tent (yes – in the winter), and some stuff, which we might need in order to spend the night there. Also, obviously some (lying-)chairs.

Then, we just spend some marvelous one-on-one time there. I have my small hiking-stove with me, so we can cook there if we’re cold (or just to eat – or make some mulled wine).
Then, some talking, warm food and drinks, shooting-stars, loads of wishes (given to us from the stars), all glamorous and shit. Loads of talking and getting closer to each other (figuratively and literally). Then, time for bed.

Depending of how cold it is, or how hot we have, we could also go home (that’s why near where I live).)

(Freaky me speaking:) Then, in the tent, we have somewhat cold, and then you know, bodies give each other heat -> one thing leads to another -> dick froze off.

In the night, if we are cold, I would also just make some hot tea (or whatever), so we’d get warm again. Or cuddle, of course hehe.

Then, the next morning, we maybe see the last shooting star (I assume, we won’t sleep long), and then some porridge for breakfast -> going home. And then maybe sleep a little really enjoying the warmth and comfort of a real bed.

Problems: It’s kind of a big first date -> if I want to do that, I actually have to try quite hard lul. But I think, this would be really good!
